
Nearly 450 million people worldwide are currently living with a mental illness, yet nearly two thirds of people with a known mental illness never seek treatment. – May is a time to raise awareness of those living with mental or behavioral health issues and to help reduce the stigma so many experience. – For 2021’s Mental Health Awareness Month, we will continue to amplify the message of “You Are Not Alone.” We will use this time to focus on the healing value of connecting in safe ways, prioritizing mental health and acknowledging that it’s okay to not be okay.
