The Rainbow Alive Hub Initiative

The Rainbow Alive Hub Initiative  (TRAHI) started as an informal forum of passionate MSM,  Transgender and Gender non-conforming individuals in Lagos and  Ogun states of Nigeria who came together to lean their voices and  expertise to pressing developmental challenges facing their  marginalized communities The organization was founded on  September 2018 and has since continue to galvanize a veritable  development platform that advances socio-economic justice,  gender equality, health and human rights as well as inclusion of  sexual minority groups in Nigeria using feminist approach and  ideology. Also, the organization prioritized the centering of sexual  minority women’s issues in all areas of its programming. The  organization is now fully registered with the Nigerian Corporate  Affairs Commission with the registration Number: CAC/IT/NO  154742 as non-profit organization.

Why We Exist

TRAHI was established to address the challenges faced by Nigeria, particularly the LGBTQ community who are disproportionately affected by poverty, poor healthcare, lack of economic opportunities, gender inequality, and discrimination.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the dignity and quality of life of sexual  minority individuals and other vulnerable groups by strengthening  communities, eliminating barriers to quality life and rights as well as,  ultimately emboldening their voices to create real change.

Our vision is to see a Nigeria where every citizen irrespective of  tribe, religion, gender and sexual identity has access to quality life and reaches their full potentials.
